At Aquablast we have developed a method of cleaning framing timbers (green oak as well as timbers in listed buildings) using fine powders as the cleaning media. This is delivered through specially adapted equipment at low pressure. Our methods allows us to clean timbers after plastering and glazing has been fixed without causing any damage to adjoining surfaces. This means that by cleaning the timbers after the trades have completed, the final finish will not be compromised. Here are a few pictures from a recent job:
